Supercharge your health with this movement
We were born to move. Adding more movement right now, especially if you have become more sedentary due to staying at home, can improve your physical and mental wellbeing.
Our friend Tristan Truscott at Satori Method teaches a 5,000-year-old movement method that naturally supercharges your health, eliminates disease-causing stress. Studies have also shown that this practice can support antibodies that help fight against viruses and bacteria.
We got to sit down with Tristan recently to hear more about his stress-busting method:
Take your workout to the primal level
Want to get primal? Our friend Darryl Edwards of Primal Play and Animal Movement gave us some great tips on using natural movement to get into great shape even if your gym is out for the count – check out our recent chat with him here:
Improve your sleep hygiene
When you’re stressed, it can be difficult to wind down and relax at night. You might have a hard time falling asleep, or you might not be able to stay asleep through the night.
If you are looking at your smartphone, laptop, tablet or TV before bed, you may be disrupting your sleep cycle through excessive blue-light exposure.
You can minimize the blue light effect by wearing amber-tinted glasses for a few hours before bedtime. In a study conducted at Columbia University, adults with insomnia had 30 minutes more sleep when they wore amber glasses in the evening.
If you wind down without screens but you still can’t sleep, you might be dealing with a mineral deficiency. Our friend Barton Scott from Upgraded Formulas gave us the scoop on how to improve your sleep with the right nutrients.
He has also given us a special tribe discount to get a virus support bundle and to see if you have a mineral deficiency.
Take extra time for self-care practices
