1. Registration & Check-In:

When & Where

Paleo f(x)™ 2022 takes place April 29th – May 1st at the Palmer Events Center, located at 900 Barton Springs Road in Austin, TX.

When you arrive to register and check-in at the Palmer Events Center with your ID, we will provide you with the appropriate badge or pass to enter the event!

For special discount Premier badges (children/student/senior 65+/military/first responder), your current ID that verifies your student, senior, military, or first responder status is required. Please have your current ID at check-in. If it is unavailable, the difference between the special discount Premier badge and a full price Premier badge will be charged on-site.

Check-In opens at 8:00am on Friday and 8:30am on Saturday & Sunday. Please come to the South Entrance on Barton Springs Road to check-in. We highly recommend you come register as early as possible to make sure you get into the sessions you would like to see on time.

Keep in mind that Premier & VIP badges do end up selling out each year. However, Expo passes are unlimited and will not sell out. You can purchase a 3-day and a 1-day Expo passes at the box office on-site.

Badges for children:

  1. Expo: Children age 12 and under are free with an adult purchase for the Expo floor only.
  2. Premiere & VIP: Children over the age of one (1) will need to have a Children’s Discount Premier badge to enter the Premier & VIP sessions with their parents. This is due to restrictions on capacity due to fire code, set and enforced by the fire marshall. Children that are not held in the arms are considered an adult for purposes of capacity. Please email us at [email protected] if you need any assistance with getting a Premier pass for your child.

There are four stage areas.

  • Interactive Stage (VIP & Premiere only)
  • Paleo On Ramp Stage (Expo Hall)
  • Paleo f(x)™ Fast Track Stage (Expo Hall)

5. Food at Paleo f(x)™

Off-Site Food Options

There are several restaurants and food trucks within walking distance or a short drive that have Paleo-friendly food selections. Here are just a few favorites:

  • Terry Black’s BBQ – 1003 Barton Springs Rd. – Finger-lickin’ good barbecue right across the street!
  • El Alma – 1025 Barton Springs Rd. – Brunch, lunch, and dinner with “a homespun take on the contemporary flavors of Mexico.”
  • P. Terry’s Burger Stand – 401 S. Lamar Blvd. – Get a lettuce wrapped double bacon burger. Yum!
  • Uchi – 801 S. Lamar Blvd. – Delicious sashimi and other Asian-inspired dishes.
  • Picnik – 1700 S. Lamar Blvd. – Austin’s all-Paleo food trailer & coffee shop.
  • Picnik–  4801 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78756 Brick and Mortar Restaurant.

6. Workshops

Locations for registering/checking into workshops are as follows:

  • Classroom – Check-in at the Classroom Workshop door
  • S&C Floor and S&C Outdoors – Check-in at the S&C Floor
  • Natural Movement – Check-in at the Natural Movement Floor

Note: Registration for workshops will be at the Workshop Instructor’s discretion. Payments for Workshops will be taken at the time of the Workshop by the Workshop Instructor. Please have your payment ready and available to expedite the process.

7. Book Signings

Many great book signings will take place at the Paleo f(x)™ Experience Booth, on our Expo floor. Please stay tuned for a complete schedule!


8. Rooms & Rides

We have secured discounted, reserved hotel rooms for attendees. You can find a list of accommodations by clicking the “Accommodations” tab. Book early, since they tend to sell out fast!

  • “Go Running Tours” Running sightseeing is the perfect way to both exercise and explore the city on your vacation. Its energizing, fun and unique. We run with a minimum of 1 person, and with 10 hours notice.
  • Paleo Posse – not available this time.

10. Paleo f(x)™ Fit Score

We’re excited to announce that REALFIT will once again provide a chance to demonstrate your fitness levels at Paleo f(x)™ 2022. And this year will be completely different! Rather than a formal competition, we will have a MIDWAY full of individual challenges. And just like the State Fair, you can win great prizes if you beat the target score.

Can you hang from a bar for 2:00? How fast can you row 500M? How much can you lift? Show us your skills and win! And it’s FREE for all participants! Look for the MIDWAY at the center of the Expo floor as well as at select vendor booths.

11. Badge Transfers 

To transfer your Paleo f(x)™ badge to someone else, please send a request to [email protected]. As stated in our Terms & Conditions, we do not provide refunds on badge purchases. We will accept badge transfer requests until April 20, 2022.

Attendees that have purchased the Paleo f(x)™ 2020 Badges & Passes can participate live at the Paleo f(x)™ 2022 Show. They can confirm their attendance by filling out the Attendees Participation Confirmation Form.

12. Miscellaneous

Parking: The PEC parking garage contains 1,200 spaces, and is conveniently located at the Palmer Center. Entrances to the garage can be found along the north and south borders of Butler Park, on Riverside Drive near South 1st Street and Barton Springs Road between Bouldin and Dawson Streets respectively. Parking is $8 per day. More info on parking can be found at the Palmer Events Center website here.

Fun Modes of Transportation: Austin has a plethora of exciting transportation to get you around town. If you’re staying downtown, jump on a Bird or Lime scooter! Austin B-Cycles and Uber JUMP! Bicycles are another mode of getting around and exploring the town. Of course, Uber and Lyft car shares are available if you’d like to catch a ride.

Families with young children/lactating mothers:  While we encourage anyone to feed their babies/children anywhere they like in the Palmer Events Center; if you would like a private, quiet space to feed them there are two Mother’s Rooms in the Northwest corner of the Palmer Events Center, near the elevators. These rooms contain a comfy chair and a changing table with a door that locks. Mothers that are expressing their milk are welcome to use this space as well if they would like a private area to do so.

Service Dogs are definitely allowed at the Palmer Event Center. We require that all service animals wear the vest to identify them as such for the comfort and safety of other guests.
