Who doesn’t love date night? It’s always fun to have an excuse to dress up and get a little fancy. Obviously, a nice meal out is the norm, but there are a few issues typical of restaurant fare…

As a resolution to all that, I’ve planned out a really nice, perfectly Paleo Date Night Dinner. It’s nutrient-dense, luxurious, super tasty, and super simple to make.

Perfect Paleo Valentine's Day Dinner

Starter: Brussels Sprouts Salad

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Cut Brussels in half, toss them in coconut oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, bake for 20-25 minutes, rotating halfway through.
  4. While Brussels are baking, cut grapes in half, add to a medium sized bowl, cook 2-3 slices of bacon, chop and add to the bowl.
  5. Let Brussels cool, add to the bowl with grapes and bacon, toss in fresh cilantro and a dash of salt and pepper.

Main Course: Surf’n’Turf

  2. Heat up a cast iron skillet on high heat on the stovetop
  3. Brush each side of your steak steak with olive oil, coat each side with salt and pepper.
  4. Place steak in cast iron skillet, sear each side for 30 seconds.

  6. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes
