Yes, you have several options. Check the Resources Page for discounted hotel block rooms, lodging info, and other resources.
The difference is explained on our registration page. Keep in mind that If you purchase a Premiere ticket, you don’t need an Expo ticket. A Premiere ticket is our more popular ticket, as it gives you the full Paleo f(x)™ experience. However, we also sell many expo tickets, and these are great for beginners or people who just want a taste of what the event is about.
Comfortable clothing and shoes, workout clothes (if you want to take a movement workshop), a water bottle to stay hydrated, something to take notes with, a camera and charger, spending cash for the vendor fair (some vendors accept credit card, some don’t), and an open mind. You may also want to bring snacks.
We don’t recommend large bags or valuable items. There are no lockers in the event center, so you will have to carry whatever you bring for the day. Of course, Paleo f(x)™ is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Children 12 or under attend the Expo for free. Those 13 and up are considered regular adults for the purposes of our Expo.
Tickets are non-refundable, however you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please contact [email protected] with transfer requests.
Tons! For starters, you’ll be surrounded by thousands of intelligent people who, like you, are passionate about health. But we’ve also specifically designed Paleo f(x)™ to have a variety of built-in opportunities to network and make new friends, including topical networking events, social meet-ups, and more.
Yes, absolutely. We label each session as beginner, intermediate, or advanced. With multiple concurrent stages, there are many sessions to choose among. Whether you’re looking for a true intro to paleo living (“Paleo 101”), a deep presentation by a master health practitioner, or something in between, we’ve got it. Paleo f(x)™ offers something for everyone.
We’ve intentionally created the “high quality problem” of many good sessions to choose among. But keep in mind two things. First, sessions are ranked as beginner, intermediate, or advanced, and we tend to run sessions of different ranks against each other, when possible. Second, every Premiere badge holder is entitled to some limited, post-event video-on-demand privileges. So, you’ll be able to watch some of the sessions you might have missed, on video.
Beginner: These sessions assume no prior knowledge of the session topic and are accessible to all. Please bear in mind that “beginner” does not necessarily mean “only beginners should attend,” since a talk may be of general interest. Intermediate: These sessions assume at least some knowledge of the topic in order to get maximum value from the session. Advanced: These sessions assume strong knowledge of the topic in order to get maximum value from the session. Regardless of the session or workshop ranking, anyone may attend any session. These rankings are just helpful guidelines.
Please go to their speaker profile page, and contact them through one of their listed sites (e.g. blog or personal website). For privacy reasons, we don’t give out contact details for individual speakers.
Currently, we choose speakers based on the input from our executive board, our team, and our expert advisors. Learn more here.
Whereas the AHS is an academic conference, Paleo f(x)™ focuses on the implementation of ancestral health practices in the real world. We support the goals of the Ancestral Health Symposium, and they support us in return. We work together to ensure that our respective events are different but complementary. We often say that our organizations form a Yin & Yang.
