Paleo f(x)™ is an organization dedicated to three interrelated goals:
First and foremost, we are an event. We seek to provide our attendees with a valuable and unforgettable Paleo f(x)™ experience. Our mission includes equipping our attendees not just with the knowledge and insights needed for great health but also with the inspiration and support to act. Finally, Paleo f(x)™ is a forum—the largest of its kind—where the theory of Ancestral Health turns into the practices that allow great health to flourish.
Spanning over three days, Paleo f(x)™ features multiple stages and a massive vendor fair. It has an array of keynote presentations, mastermind panels, cooking demos, and workshops, all led by cutting edge health practitioners, scientists in a variety of fields, coaches and gym owners, New York Times bestselling authors, popular bloggers, community and sustainability activists, biohackers, chefs, and more.
Paleo f(x)™ is a true holistic lifestyle immersion event, encompassing health and wellness, nutrition, fitness, sustainability, self-improvement, and everything in between. Suited for everyone from the novice to the expert, it is the largest paleo health event—and one of the largest holistic health events—in the world.
Paleo is more than a diet, it’s about community, it’s about activity, it’s about having shared experiences that challenge and inspire you. The organizers of Paleo f(x)™ understand that, and that is why Paleo f(x)™ is such an important event.- Tony Federico Host of Paleo Magazine Radio
The idea behind Paleo f(x)™ originated in August of 2011. Founders and owners Michelle and Keith Norris were on the flight home from the Ancestral Health Symposium, an annual academic conference. They came away inspired but lamenting the disconnect between the worlds of ancestral health theory and practice. Their daily work with clients taught them that there is a pressing need for a conference that helps people understand how to apply the insights of the ancestral health perspective. And so Paleo f(x)™ was born. In a short 6 months, with the help of an incredible volunteer team, they organized the inaugural Paleo f(x)™, a collaborative symposium that launched in Austin, in March 2012 on The University of Texas at Austin Campus.
In 2013, the Paleo f(x)™ event found a wonderful new home in Austin’s Palmer Event Center, where it has been held since. In 2013, the event occupied the Palmer Center’s second floor conference rooms, plus the Northern Exhibit Hall. In 2015, Paleo f(x)™ expanded to occupy the entire Palmer Center, including the entire 70,000 sq. ft. exhibit area.
Since its inception, Paleo f(x)™ has grown from a volunteer-hobbyist event into a full-time business. Original Founding Partner Mark Alexander became CFO and co-owner in 2014, and Director of Media Alex Baia also became a co-owner the same year. 2015 saw the addition of several key Paleo f(x)™ Team Members.
