Ever since highschool, Jared Camarata has been on a quest to understand the topic of food. It started with cultural studies and moved to topics of sustainability and health. Where does food come from? How do other countries grow their food? What does sustainability even mean? How can we develop healthy relationships with our food? This search unsurprisingly led Jared to find the the paleo diet, and he decided to dive head first into the paleo world. Jared has volunteered with Paleo f(x)™ since the initial symposium in 2012. Jared stays active in the local paleo scene as well. You'll find him helping to connect paleo followers with neighboring farmers and setting up other outdoor fun activities.
Outside of the Paleosphere, Jared is a computer geek (read: software engineer) with an additional interest in sustainable agriculture such as aquaponics. Jared hopes to merge his love for technology and plants by developing technology that enables small farmers more automated conveniences.
